Do not hesitate to (re)apply ultrasound gel to ensure good contact between the 3 electrodes and the dog’s skin, through the hair.


Check that you are well placed on a cardiac focus: left side on the chest behind the forelimb at the precordial shock.


You can move/rotate the device slightly to improve the signals quality.


Note that an auscultation is considered valid if it allows to see all the ECG waves and the S1 and S2 PCG noises. The better the signal quality, the better the resulting diagnostic aid. Examples and tips can be found in the appendix of the user manual and in the example file.
